Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA might be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it can be alarmed regarding the large amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area every day. The services stage created for intervention activities a higher inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this read more reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to enable the servicing of all shoppers and raise use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
